John Harrington CFP®

Financial Planner

John Harrington is a well-established CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner who has dedicated his practice to helping individuals and business owners gain control of their financial future to pursue their long-term financial goals.

With a strong background in estate planning and wealth management John can create a comprehensive approach that includes trust designs, gifting strategies, business succession planning, generational planning and asset management programs. In the area of business planning, John collaborates with the business owner(s) to implement executive employee benefit packages, exit planning, and retirement programs that adress specific business needs. Whether it is a confident retirement, wealth preservation, education funding, transfer, or leaving a legacy, each person is unique and requires strategies that are customized and highly personal to each client.

The first step of the process is an objective, comprehensive examination followed by an objective written plan. John utilizes his own team of professionals to work in conjunction with the client's tax and legal consultants. This assures that the client is well informed and in a position to make the best decisions possible. However, monitoring the client's situation is equally as important in order to make adjustments as necessary to accommodate the changing market environment as well as the changing needs and goals for each client. John states, “Our goal is to take the mystery out of complex financial issues and help our clients understand their various alternatives.”

John is a 1980 graduate of Manhattanville College and a resident of Easton, CT. John earned his CFP® certification from Kaplan University and has earned recognition as a Five Star wealth manager in 2014 and 2017 as seen in Hudson Valley Magazine*. John and his wife Teresa have two children, Jennifer, a literacy coach in Bridgeport, CT and Carolyn, a student in the Perkins school for the Blind. John is a committee member of the Pension and Benefit Board for the town of Easton, CT.

Patrick Eaker

Financial Planner

As a Financial Planner, I partner with business owners and athletes who have earned their success through grit and sacrifice and are ready to turn years of hard work into lasting income and a legacy worth leaving. Many of the people I serve find themselves with significant complexity: cash-flow volatility, tax inefficiencies, and uncertain exit strategies. Athletes, especially in the NIL era, face even more urgency: sudden high earnings, short career windows, and enormous pressure with no long-term roadmap. My role is to cut through the noise, safeguard what you’ve built, and design an intentional plan that’s built to support your life.

My mission is to be the advisor you can rely on when money decisions carry real weight. I pride myself on giving clear, honest guidance that reduces stress, creates direction, and gives you confidence in the road ahead. It is because of this that I often become your first call for life’s most exciting, important, and difficult moments.

I entered the financial services industry to fix what I saw as a broken system. Before becoming an advisor, I worked across a wide range of industries from tech sales and film production to blue-collar work, solar sales, and hazmat response. In each of those roles, a pattern emerged: successful professionals and business owners were often being steered in the wrong direction. I saw how poor planning and lack of structure could quietly undermine years of hard work. That experience shaped my approach and continues to drive how I show up for clients today.

My planning process is built on a framework that has been developed and refined over decades by my Uncle John, the cornerstone of our practice. We start by getting a clear picture of where you stand today, specifically how your income flows, where inefficiencies exist, and what risks could impact your future. From there, we build a coordinated plan that connects your investments, taxes, business, and long-term goals into one clear map so we can see your full financial picture before any recommendations are made. Once your plan is in place we stay in communication, adjusting your plan as your life evolves or your situation changes.

What sets me apart is my perspective and the way I approach relationships. I understand what it feels like to be pitched, overlooked, or given generic advice. That’s why I always lead with listening and authenticity. I take the time to understand your story, your goals, your family dynamics, and what matters most to you. My focus is on building a real relationship where you feel supported, intentional, and confident in the decisions you’re making.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in Sports Communication, with a minor in Business, from Marist College. I also stay involved in my community by volunteering as a youth lacrosse coach in Redding, Connecticut.

Outside of work, I stay active by spending time outdoors. Hiking and fishing are my go-to ways to reset. I also enjoy woodworking and playing guitar, both of which give me a chance to slow things down. Family is a central part of my life, and I spend as much time as I can with my fiancée, Ruby, her son Aidan, and our extended family. In the fall, you’ll find me watching Penn State football, something that runs deep in my family.
